Why Light-filter blinds?
Light-filtering roller blinds give the ability to control light while still retaining good privacy, day and night. Allowing some light in but around 80% night-time privacy, they can be installed in living areas and colour-matched to block out roller blinds hung in bedrooms, making for a seamless colour theme throughout your home.
We have numerous componentry options we can combine to make your light-filter roller blinds just right. All of our blinds come with top of the line Rollease Acmeda brand of components.
These include various bracket and chain winder colour options. Chain option colours – stainless steel, smoke and plastic, and different bottom rail shapes and colours. A unique fabric wrap option can also be used on your light-filter roller blinds.
We offer you fabrics in a range of weave from 2-10% openness. This allows you to find your preferred balance of vision out, versus external elements: privacy, glare, heat and UV light control. A darker colour fabric will allow better vision and glare control and a lighter colour is better for heat control.
A great way to finish light-filter roller blinds is by hiding the roll at the top. These can be custom painted to suit or a fabric wrap option is available.
We can fit child safety devices to all our Drapes and Blindz Direct roller blinds. Choose a Chain Tidy device, a Chain Tensioner, or the ultimate: chain-free motorised roller blinds.
